Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple Martin channels mom in sleek look straight out of ‘90s
Apple Martin brings ‘90s minimalist chic to support Gwyneth Paltrow at ‘Marty Supreme’ premiere
Apple Martin is the spitting image of her mother, Gwyneth Paltrow, at the New York premiere of the upcoming Marty Supreme.
Paltrow, who makes her return to acting in the new film, was supported by her lookalike daughter dressed in a look borrowed from her closet.
Martin channeled ‘90s minimalism in a black Calvin Klein slip dress, which her mother had originally worn to the premiere of her film Emma in 1996, also held in New York City.
The 21-year-old singer shared Vogue’s post about the latest fashion moment to her Instagram stories.
Also on display was a second slide which featured Martin with an orange ping pong hat adorning her head while she sat for the film’s screening inside the theatre, with the caption, “Dream big” — made synonymous with the film’s promotions by its star, Timothée Chalamet.
While Vogue described the mother-daughter style look with the cheeky description, “The Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
“If you’re a @GwynethPaltrow aficionado, then Apple Martin’s dress for tonight’s ‘Marty Supreme’ premiere may look familiar: it’s a @CalvinKlein collection gown pulled from her mother’s extensive closet,” the magazine’s caption continued.
Marty Supreme’s latest premiere, ahead of its December 25 release, was also attended by Chalamet and his mom, Nicole Flender.
While Apple Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow were joined by Moses Martin — Paltrow’s son and Martin’s brother.
Gwyneth Paltrow took an acting sabbatical after appearing in Ryan Murphy’s Netflix series The Politician (2019), with Marty Supreme being her first onscreen appearance six years later.
