X-Men once again led by Patrick Stewart in new ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ teaser
X-Men return in latest teaser for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
Avengers: Doomsday has rolled out its latest character teaser — this time, featuring the return of X-Men.
Led by Professor X/Charles Xavier, once again reprised by Patrick Stewart, the newly released footage also included appearances by James Marsden as Cyclops/Scott Summers and Ian McKellen as Magneto/Erik Lehnsherr.
It is the third teaser from the highly anticipated Marvel film to be released ahead of Avatar: Fire and Ash screenings in cinemas.
The first two releases had teased Chris Evans’ return as Steve Rogers and Chris Hemsworth’s as Thor.
The brief clip, a little more than a minute long, begins with Professor X at the X-Mansion, while his voice narrates, “Death comes… for us all.”
Also included is a poignant moment shared between the Professor and Magneto, old friends and occasional adversaries, while Cyclops can be seen blasting a massive laser beam from his eyes.
“The X-Men will return in Avengers: Doomsday,” read the title card at the end of the footage, with the release date being announced as December 18, 2026.
Notably, Avengers: Doomsday will mark James Marsden and Ian McKellen’s MCU debuts, while Patrick Stewart had already made his with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in 2022.
