Jennette McCurdy says she doesn’t want children— Despite her recent medical procedure

Jennette McCurdy has opened up about having children, reflecting her thoughts on motherhood.

Appearing on the January 7 episode of Call Her Daddy, the actress told host Alex Cooper that she does not want to have children.

The 33-year-old actress addressed how her upbringing has shaped her views,

McCursy reponded bluntly when asked about motherhood, “I don’t want kids if that’s what you’re asking,” McCurdy said, before adding that she remains open to the possibility that her feelings could change in the future.

McCurdy revealed that she froze her eggs in September 2025 as a precaution.

“I don’t know if I’m going to change my mind,” she explained, noting that she didn’t want to eliminate the option entirely.

The author of I’m Glad My Mom Died said she and her boyfriend have discussed the topic and are aligned in not wanting children at this stage, while remaining open to evolving together.

She also described the egg-freezing process as far less daunting than anticipated, crediting a supportive medical team for making it manageable.
