Gigi Hadid stuns with dramatic new haircut and matte black transformation

Gigi Hadid stunned fans with her boldest hair transformation yet.

The 30-year-old supermodel debuted a jet-black chin-length bob, straying far from her signature blonde, in an Instagram post shared by her hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos.

“This is Matte Black,” Giannetos captioned the post, showcasing Hadid’s dramatic new look, which appears to have been styled for a Maybelline shoot.

Hadid has previously experimented with blonde and red hues, but nothing as striking as this transformation. 

She was last seen with blonde locks in December while on set for a Super Bowl ad in New York City.

The mom of one has a history of daring color changes. In early 2025, she debuted a silver-sheened bob at the Le Grand Dîner du Louvre event, and in 2021, she surprised audiences with fiery red hair at the Met Gala, inspired by The Queen’s Gambit.

In recent months, Hadid has been spotted out and about with boyfriend Bradley Cooper and best friend Taylor Swift, sporting her familiar warm blonde bob. Now, with her jet-black look, the model is showing a new, daring side.
