Bruno Mars addressed rumors of online drama after appearing to like a post on X that criticized Taylor Swift.

The tweet, which has since been removed, featured footage of Swift performing on her Eras Tour and labeled the pop superstar “talentless,” sparking a social media stir.

On Sunday, March 15, Mars clarified the situation, writing beneath a post about the report, “Taylor has always been supportive and kind to me. Only love over here.”

He followed up with another message: “Spread Love on these apps!"

The controversial tweet was falsely credited to BTS’s official X account, and its true origin remains unknown. Mars allegedly removed his like from the post shortly after it circulated.

This isn’t the first time Mars and Swift’s names have crossed online. In November 2021, Silk Sonic bandmate Anderson.Paak joked about Swift beating them on the album charts after their number-two spot, prompting Mars to quote Paak’s tweet with a playful photoshopped image of Paak on Swift’s 1989 album cover.

Mars, 40, is currently preparing for a world tour promoting his fourth solo studio album, The Romantic.

His tour kicks off on April 10 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and will span North America and Europe, with support from Paak (DJ Pee .Wee), Leon Thomas, Victoria Monét, and Raye.

He last performed at the 2026 Grammys, delivering high-energy performances of “APT” with ROSÉ and “I Just Might” from his new album, while earning three Grammy nominations.
