Shia LaBeouf has been filmed behaving erratically in Rome during a trip for his father’s baptism, marking the latest in a series of troubling public incidents.

Footage obtained by TMZ shows the 39-year-old actor shouting at a woman in an outdoor cafe before pacing the streets and screaming at unidentified targets.

At one point during the one-sided exchange, the "Transformers" star was heard to scream “F–k off!” at the bystander, who appeared to ignore the outburst.

This Mediterranean episode follows a distressing period for the actor, who was recently seen in a New Orleans hotel lobby wearing only underwear.

On Friday, further footage emerged of a tense confrontation with authorities outside his home in the United States.

During the exchange, a sobbing LaBeouf told police, “I don’t trust you at all!” and described himself as a “target.”

The actor’s recent behaviour comes in the wake of significant legal altercations in New Orleans. Following a Mardi Gras arrest, LaBeouf was charged with two counts of simple battery after a bar brawl last month where he allegedly head-butted a man.

He was subsequently ordered to pay a $100,000 bond, attend rehabilitation, and undergo regular drug testing. These court mandates coincide with major family changes, as the father-of-one moved to New Orleans last year following a quiet split from his estranged wife, Mia Goth.

Representatives for the actor have not yet commented on the recent footage from Italy, which adds to growing concerns regarding his wellbeing and stability.
