Mel B opens up about 'Spice Girls' tour after reunion cancellation
Mel B shares an update on 'Spice Girls' reunion plans
Mel B has addressed speculation surrounding a potential 'Spice Girls' reunion, revealing she is still eager to hit the road—despite reports that plans have stalled.
Speaking at a recent event in Los Angeles, the singer said she would “absolutely” join a global tour if the opportunity arose. However, she acknowledged that a reunion is not currently in motion.
Mel B, also known as Scary Spice, said she has always been enthusiastic about touring with her bandmates—Melanie C, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham—adding that she has been ready to perform since the group first formed in the 1990s.
Her comments come shortly after reports suggested the group was unable to agree on a reunion project to mark the 30th anniversary of their hit song Wannabe.
Melanie C also recently confirmed that while discussions are ongoing, no official plans have been finalized.
The Spice Girls originally disbanded in 2000 but have reunited several times over the years, including a high-profile performance at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony and a limited tour in 2019.
Despite the lack of reunion plans, Mel B remains optimistic about the future, saying she hopes the group will come together again at some point.
Outside of music, the singer is staying busy with various projects, including her role as a judge on America's Got Talent, while continuing to focus on her health and wellness routine.
