Usher denied claims of serious dispute involving Justin Bieber
Usher described the recent media reports regarding Justin Bieber as an exaggeration
Usher has officially moved to dismiss reports suggesting he engaged in an intense verbal altercation with Justin Bieber during a high-profile Oscars afterparty.
Following claims from media outlets that the pair were involved in a "heated exchange" at the event hosted by Beyoncé and Jay-Z, associates of the R&B star have come forward to clarify the nature of their interaction.
During a recent radio broadcast, rapper Da Brat shared insights from a personal conversation with the singer, seeking to rectify what she described as a significant distortion of the facts regarding the two performers.
"I spoke to Usher, and he said, ‘This is an exaggeration of the conversation,’" Da Brat said. She emphasised that the "Yeah!" singer has maintained a consistently supportive stance toward the younger artist throughout the various challenges of his career.
According to the rapper, there is no lingering hostility between the men, who have shared a professional and personal bond for nearly two decades.
"Justin is on his own journey, dealing with his own reality that he’s created," she continued, adding that the two "definitely love each other" and that the public has simply taken a private moment out of its proper context.
"Usher wishes him nothing but the best, and they have no hostility towards each other," Da Brat added, reinforcing the strength of their connection.
Usher famously served as a primary mentor to the "Baby" singer during the early stages of his rise to global fame.
While the pair have navigated complex industry pressures together, their partnership remains a significant chapter in modern pop history.
