Sydney Sweeney shares heartfelt tribute to brother following deployment

The "Euphoria" star Sydney Sweeney has shared a poignant message of support for military service members after revealing that her younger brother, Trent, has been deployed overseas.

On Tuesday, the twenty-eight-year-old actress posted an image to her Instagram Story featuring twenty-five-year-old Trent in his United States Air Force uniform.

The snapshot, seemingly captured during a video call, showed the siblings smiling as they connected despite the distance.

"Receiving calls from my bro always makes me happy when he’s deployed," Sweeney captioned the post, expressing her personal gratitude for his safety.

She extended her well-wishes to all personnel currently serving abroad, writing: "Thinking of all our boys and girls overseas and sending my love! Thank you for your service :)"

Trent, who was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant in August 2025, is Sweeney’s only sibling. While his specific location has not been disclosed, his deployment comes amidst heightened global tensions.

The actress, who recently launched her lingerie brand Syrn, has often navigated public discourse regarding her personal life and political leanings.

Addressing past controversies in a January interview with Cosmopolitan, Sweeney reiterated her focus on her professional craft.

"I’ve never been here to talk about politics," she stated, adding: "I’ve always been here to make art." She emphasised that she is not a "hateful" person and remains committed to her values.

Following her breakout success in television, Sweeney is currently slated to appear in several upcoming film projects throughout 2026 and 2027.
