Frankie Grande has expressed his deep gratitude for his sister, Ariana Grande, after her "life-saving" vocal advice helped him overcome a health hurdle before his major Broadway return. Speaking with E! News on the 43-year-old performer revealed he was struggling with a severe sinus infection during rehearsals for the musical Titanique.

In a bid to clear his congestion and maintain his vocal clarity, Frankie admitted he had been "steaming, steaming, steaming" for nearly ninety minutes every day.

However, it was his sister—herself a seasoned stage veteran currently starring in the Wicked film franchise—who stepped in to correct his technique.

"She was like, 'Bro, you're over-steaming,'" Frankie recalled. Ariana advised him to significantly reduce his sessions, recommending he "chill" and limit the remedy to just fifteen or thirty minutes.

Frankie noted that he "got better after that," successfully clearing his congestion in time for the show's previews. Beyond the technical advice, Frankie reflected on the emotional depth of their relationship, noting that he effectively "raised her" in the theatre world.

He recalled how Ariana spent her childhood watching his Broadway performances before making her own debut, creating a full-circle moment as they now support each other as peers.

Frankie is currently starring as Victor Garber in Titanique, the Olivier Award-winning parody of the 1997 film Titanic set to the music of Celine Dion.

The production, which also stars Jim Parsons and Deborah Cox, officially began its limited sixteen-week run at the St. James Theatre on 26 March 2026.

Despite the "vocal gymnastics" required to belt out Dion’s hits every night, Frankie credited the "vocal energy" he received from Ariana for keeping him on track for the highly anticipated opening night on 12 April.
