The special’s release also reignited interest in the original show, with viewership surging 1,000% over the past week compared to the prior week.
Despite ending in 2011, the series continues to resonate with audiences, having amassed over 500 million streaming hours to date.
Debuting on March 24, the program saw Cyrus return to the iconic Hannah Montana set to reflect on her time portraying the pop star alter ego.
She was joined by her mother, Tish Cyrus-Purcell, and participated in a candid interview with podcaster Alex Cooper.
