Jennifer Aniston recalls ‘fun’ Friends reunion with Matt LeBlanc in Super Bowl commercial
Ben Affleck led the star-packed campaign inspired by 'Good Will Hunting'
Jennifer Aniston has reflected on a nostalgic on-screen reunion with Matt LeBlanc, all thanks to Ben Affleck’s star-studded 2026 Super Bowl commercial.
The actress, 57, teamed up with her former Friends co-star for a Dunkin’ ad that aired during Super Bowl LX, bringing together a lineup of beloved ‘90s television icons in a humorous tribute to the 1997 film Good Will Hunting.
Speaking to People about the experience, Aniston described the reunion as both surprising and enjoyable, noting that working alongside Affleck and reconnecting with LeBlanc made the project especially memorable.
She also praised the concept of the commercial, calling it a “crazy” yet entertaining idea that ultimately came together in a fun and creative way.
The ad features digitally de-aged versions of its stars, with Affleck appearing in a playful nod to his longtime collaborator Matt Damon’s look in Good Will Hunting.
Aniston and LeBlanc also appear in youthful form, joined by Tom Brady and a host of familiar faces from classic ‘90s sitcoms.
Among them are Ted Danson from Cheers, Jasmine Guy from A Different World, Jaleel White from Family Matters, Alfonso Ribeiro from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Jason Alexander from Seinfeld, creating a nostalgic crossover moment for fans of the era.
Aniston and LeBlanc famously starred together on the hit sitcom Friends from 1994 to 2004, where they played Rachel Green and Joey Tribbiani, respectively, roles that helped define their careers and cement the show’s legacy.
The commercial marks Affleck’s latest collaboration with Dunkin’, following a series of Super Bowl appearances that have increasingly leaned into humor and pop culture references.
Previous campaigns have included everything from hidden-camera pranks to the formation of a fictional boy band alongside Damon and Brady.
