Katy Perry jokes about ‘age gap’ with Justin Trudeau during playful date night

Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are keeping their romance lighthearted and self-aware as they poke fun at their age difference during a recent date night.

The pop star, 41, took to Instagram on March 27 to share a series of candid moments with Trudeau, 54, offering fans a glimpse into their relationship while joking about their “age gap.” 

Captioning the post with the reflective prompt, “How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you were?” Perry leaned into the playful tone of the evening.

In one standout photo, the couple smiled while holding up their phones to reveal results from a “biological age” quiz. 

Perry’s result showed 33.1 years, notably younger than her actual age, while Trudeau’s came in at 43, also significantly below his real age.

Beyond the quiz, the carousel captured snapshots from Perry’s personal life, including sweet moments with her 5-year-old daughter Daisy, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom. 

One image showed the singer skiing with her daughter, while another highlighted custom cowboy boots being made for the child.

The post marks another chapter in Perry and Trudeau’s increasingly public relationship. 

After months of speculation sparked by sightings together, the pair made things Instagram official in December 2025, following their first public appearance as a couple in October.

Despite their high-profile lives and long-distance dynamic, sources say the couple remains focused on maintaining stability, particularly for their families. 

They reportedly travel frequently to spend time together and have approached the relationship with flexibility from the start.

Their connection has also played out on the global stage. During a trip to Japan tied to Perry’s tour, Trudeau introduced her as his partner while meeting with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, further signaling the seriousness of their bond.
