King Charles has been commended by Carol Vorderman for his "charming" and "delightful" nature, with the broadcaster sharing that she has never felt uneasy in the monarch's company.

The two have crossed paths multiple times, with Ms. Vorderman having been engaged with the King's Trust for over three decades, dating back to when it was still known as the Prince's Trust before Charles ascended to the throne.

"I believe I became an ambassador for the Trust in the 90s, so I've had numerous encounters with the King and Queen throughout the years. He is always wonderful and very approachable. I even persuaded him to perform the 'Mobot' on stage once," Ms. Vorderman told Woman&Home.

The broadcaster expressed admiration for His Majesty, highlighting his dedication to various causes and the genuine interest he displays when engaging with people.

She remarked: "Regardless of what people think about the monarchy politically, King Charles consistently supports the Trust and does everything in his power.

"He stands firm in his beliefs. He addressed the issue of climate change years ago, and people mocked him, but his words proved prophetic.

"I believe the Trust stands as one of his most significant achievements. It's arguably his crowning success."

Earlier this year, the King mentioned he "wasn't going to be swayed" from his environmental advocacy during a preview clip for his Prime Video documentary, Finding Harmony: A King's Vision.

Ms. Vorderman has been a fervent supporter of the monarch's commitments, as she reflected on her interactions with him.

She commented: "He is consistently genuinely charming, and far more interested in the young individuals engaged with the Trust than the celebrities. I doubt he's ever too impressed by a woman known for doing math on television!

"King Charles is genuinely charming, and more captivated by the young people engaged with the Trust than the famous individuals."

Ms. Vorderman's remarks coincide as the monarch traveled to Wales with Queen Camilla for the Royal Maundy Service at St. Asaph Cathedral in Denbighshire.

The royals were greeted by numerous supporters waving both Union and Welsh flags, all eager to glimpse the couple.
