Khloé Kardashian opens up about weight loss struggles and social media pressures
The reality star says mindset matters more than quick fixes when it comes to wellness
Khloé Kardashian is getting real about the struggles behind her health and fitness journey.
In a candid conversation with People magazine, the 41-year-old reality star and Kloud founder emphasized that achieving weight loss isn’t about quick fixes or “magic solutions.”
“You know, for me, working out started from a low place in my life, and it wasn’t about trying to be a certain amount on the scale. And it isn’t still — I don’t even own a scale,” Kardashian said.
She encouraged focusing on personal progress rather than comparing oneself to others.
“You just have to do what feels good to you. I know it’s super easy to compare yourself to other people, especially with social media. And I’ve been a victim to that, but it feels so good when you are your only competition,” she explained.
Kardashian also reflected on the uniqueness of every body type, noting that results can vary widely.
“I’m now 41 and I’ve come to realize, okay, we all truly don’t have the same body. There’s no one size fits all. Someone goes to the gym twice a week and they have this incredible body, and I might have to fight for mine a little harder. And I also think that’s a cool thing to brag about,” she said.
For Kardashian, the journey extends beyond physical fitness. “Feeling confident within yourself and liking yourself as a person inside out — only that matters. As much as people wanna believe, there is no magic anything. I think we all have to work at something,” she said.
She added that while tools and guidance can help, real change begins with mindset.
“You will have to reprogram your brain and feel good about yourself and love yourself before any of those magic things actually do what they’re supposed to do,” Kardashian explained.
