Rapper Lil Tjay has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident involving Cardi B’s ex, Offset, at a Florida casino.

According to Broward County arrest records, Tione Jayden Merritt, professionally known as Lil Tjay, was booked Monday and charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct-affray.

His bond was set at $500 and is currently pending. In his mugshot, Tjay appeared with a slight smile while looking into the camera.

Seminole Police confirmed to Page Six that one individual has been charged in connection with the altercation, which occurred in the valet area outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood casino.

Police said the incident began with a fight, or “affray,” and that a second person was detained but not charged.

Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was reportedly shot in the valet area around 7 p.m. Monday.

Authorities described his injuries as non-life-threatening. Offset, who shares three children with Cardi B, was hospitalized for treatment.

However, Tjay’s attorney, Dawn Florio, denied that her client was involved in the shooting.

“We are issuing this release in regards to false rumors that Lil Tjay was involved in a shooting … which [resulted] in non-life-threatening injuries to Offset, formerly a member of Migos,” Florio wrote in a statement on Instagram.

“Lil Tjay has not been shot, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting. Any reporting to the contrary is false,” the attorney added.

She urged the public to consult trusted news sources and verify the accuracy of reporting before sharing or repeating rumors.
