Love Island’s Molly Marsh surprises 'true love' in US after revealing influencer romance

Molly Marsh has shared that she took a nine-hour flight to surprise her 'one true love'.

The Love Island alum, 24, recorded her travels as she reunited with her influencer boyfriend Romell Henry.

Romell, widely recognised as a YouTuber, was participating in the Chicago Marathon, under the impression his girlfriend Molly was still in the UK.

In the footage, believed to have been shot in October but shared just this week, Molly explained to her followers how she had deceived him for the sake of a surprise at the marathon’s finish line.

Molly took videos at the airport in London before setting off on her trip.

Creating video diaries for Romell, she recorded at the airport: “I don’t think you suspect anything, or maybe, like, have the slightest hint, actually.”

“I feel like I just tried to bluff my way through this morning,” Molly confessed, pretending to tell Romell she was attending Britain’s Got Talent auditions happening at the time.

She added: “I think I mentioned, ‘We’re heading to Blackpool’. I’m so sorry, I promise I’ll never deceive you again. Well, unless it’s another surprise – you get what I mean.”

Molly continued to document her trip, filming on the plane and upon her arrival in Chicago.

She checked into a hotel for the night before planning the surprise the following day, even waking up at midnight to greet Romell morning greetings to maintain the illusion she was still in the UK.

The following morning, Molly recorded her trek along the marathon path as she secretly cheered Romell on amidst the swarm of supporters.

Yet when she finally greeted him at the marathon’s end, she didn’t capture Romell’s reaction—she later explained her phone had died.

Fans in the comments section were disappointed after following the buildup, with one stating: “After all that, we didn’t get to witness his reaction!”

In the post’s caption, Molly referred to Romell as her “one true love” upon finally sharing the adventure.

He took on the marathon challenge to raise funds for Sepsis Trust Limited.

Molly publicly announced her relationship with Romell in December, though they had been together months earlier.
