Natasha Lyonne returned to the red carpet Thursday night, making a public appearance at a New York event following reports that she had been removed from a domestic flight earlier in the week.

The Emmy-nominated Orange Is the New Black and Russian Doll star attended the premiere of Lorne, a documentary chronicling the life of Lorne Michaels, creator of Saturday Night Live.

Lyonne appeared on the red carpet in a reflective black-and-white ensemble paired with white-tipped kitten heel boots, marking her first public outing after unconfirmed reports surfaced alleging she had been removed from a Delta flight traveling from Los Angeles to New York.

The reports, which circulated earlier in the week, claimed the actress was asked to leave the aircraft before takeoff following an alleged disagreement with flight crew instructions.

However, the claims have not been independently verified, and representatives for Lyonne did not immediately respond to requests for comment. A Delta spokesperson also declined to provide additional details.

Ahead of her red carpet appearance, Lyonne briefly addressed ongoing public discussion around the incident in a social media post, referencing broader issues involving airport staff and media coverage, while also making pointed remarks directed at media ownership.

Despite the speculation, Lyonne appeared composed at the New York event, where she joined industry figures celebrating the documentary’s release.

The appearance also follows a busy year for the actress, who recently spoke publicly about her recovery journey and efforts to maintain sobriety, noting her focus on personal growth and privacy while continuing to engage with her work and fans.
