Lauren Sánchez shares candid take on parenthood with Jeff Bezos
The couple continues building a close-knit family after their Venice wedding
Lauren Sánchez has revealed expanding her family with husband Jeff Bezos, saying she would “have a baby tomorrow” if it were up to her.
In a recent interview with The New York Times, published April 11, the Emmy-winning former news anchor, 56, spoke candidly about her feelings toward having more children with Bezos, 61, while emphasizing the strength of their blended family.
“I would have another one tomorrow. Tomorrow,” Sánchez said, later reiterating, “I would have a baby tomorrow.” A spokesperson clarified she is not currently expecting.
Sánchez and Bezos married in a high-profile Venice ceremony on June 27, 2025, bringing together a combined family of seven children from previous relationships.
Bezos shares four children with his ex-wife MacKenzie Scott, while Sánchez has three children from previous relationships — including son Nikko, 25, with former NFL player Tony González, and two younger children with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell.
Reflecting on their wedding, Sánchez has previously described the event as deeply emotional, particularly highlighting the moment all of their children gave speeches during the ceremony.
She said the family tributes were the most meaningful part of the celebration, noting how one of her sons, Evan, spoke about overcoming challenges related to dyslexia, a moment she described as especially powerful and unexpected.
