Love Island's Ciaran Davies addresses Ella Rae Wise romance rumours after flirty video

Love Island's Ciaran Davies has finally spoken out about those romance rumours with Ella Rae Wise after a playful video of them surfaced.

This follows The Sun's reveal of how the two reality stars were spotted recently appearing close at a celebrity event.

At the Celebrity Ex On The Beach launch event last month, Ciaran started a conversation with Ella.

The pair were seen engrossed in conversation at the bar, with the Towie star laughing and even showing some moves at one point.

Soon, they were sharing smiles, staying at the bar quite a while.

In a video broadcasted by Capital Radio, Ciaran is shown reacting to social media posts shared by his fellow Islanders.

The Love Island personality then read: "What's up with Ella Rae Wise?"

Smiling, he admitted knowing who had left that comment.

"That was Harrison (Solomon) in my comments after a TikTok video of me chatting with Ella at the Ex On The Beach party," he laughed.

Calming down the romance buzz, Ciaran remarked: "That's another thing I can clarify.

"We were just conversing. Meeting her for the first time.

"We simply had a friendly exchange. With mutual acquaintances around, she's truly a wonderful person.

"But that's where it stops. That is all there is."

He added: "Harrison, however, tried stirring things up in my comments, but I got back at him eventually!"

Meanwhile, the lovely Ella has remained single since ending things with Towie co-star Dan Edgar last year, with whom she had an on-again-off-again relationship.

Elsewhere, Ciaran triumphed on Love Island All Stars with Samie this past February, after the audience believed they were genuinely into each other.

However, just THREE weeks post-villa, as champions, they broke up.

Samie has since started a relationship with 2023 Islander Tyrique Hyde, who openly pursued her after her All Stars relationship ended.

Despite their February split, it was only recently that Ciaran opened up about the breakup.

The Welsh heartthrob mentioned noticing a “change” in Samie‘s communication a few weeks following their All Stars victory.

She embarked on a brand trip to New York, during which he remembered hardly hearing from her.

Ciaran then recounted that she called him on her trip's second day to break things off.

On the Not My Bagg podcast, he also talked about speculation of a crossover with him and Tyrique.

Ciaran said: "While we were still seeing each other before New York, he sent her flowers, and I discovered this just a day or two ago.

"How he got the address remains a mystery to me. It just makes me feel like a fool.

He didn’t outright confirm a crossover but hinted at it, adding: "It's shocking what you uncover after the fact."
