Joe Jonas is reflecting on the complex emotions of life on the road as he prepares to embark on a new South American tour with his brothers.

The singer, alongside bandmates Nick and Kevin Jonas, is celebrating a landmark 20 years of the Jonas Brothers with their "Greetings From Your Hometown" tour.

In a recent conversation with "PEOPLE", the 36-year-old musician admitted that while the milestone is deeply sentimental, it comes with the personal challenge of being away from his young daughters.

"Celebrating 20 years of the Brothers and our journey, I don't take it for granted," Joe shared, noting that the overwhelming fan reaction to their extended tour schedule has "filled our hearts."

However, the singer was candid about the toll that international travel takes on his family life. He explained that touring often prevents him from taking even a few days off to fly home, leading to what he describes as "a lot of mixed emotions."

Joe shares two daughters with his ex-wife, Sophie Turner, and the logistics of co-parenting during a global tour remain a significant focus for the star.

Despite the difficulty of the distance, Joe emphasised his passion for his career and his gratitude for the band's enduring success.

"I love what I do, and I'm so grateful that I can make people feel joy and happiness through music," he said, adding that he values the ability to offer fans a distraction from their own daily challenges.

As the group heads to South America, Joe remains committed to balancing his professional legacy with his role as a dedicated father.
