Honor’s latest phones resemble iPhones for Android
Honor has unveiled its new 600 and 600 Pro models, branding them as 'accessible flagships'
Honor has just introduced the 600 and 600 Pro, describing them as "affordable flagships," and they do have a somewhat recognisable look, especially in the orange colour.
The Pro model clearly draws parallels to the iPhone with its three rear cameras — even the flash placement is similar — while the 600 is a bit more understated because it omits the Pro’s 3.5x telephoto lens.
Honor took a similar approach with last year’s iPhone Air-inspired Honor 500, although that device was released solely in Asia.
Both devices come with IP69K water-resistance ratings (a more rigorous standard that includes tests with nearby water jets), mid-sized 6.57-inch OLED displays, and substantial 6,400mAh batteries (boasting even greater 7,000mAh capacities in Asia).
Both models support 80W wired charging; however, only the Pro features wireless charging. It is also equipped with a more advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, Qualcomm’s previous high-end processor, whereas the more affordable phone uses the midtier 7 Gen 4 chip.
The phones are available in Europe starting today, priced from €649.90 (approximately $760) for the Honor 600 and €999.90 ($1,170) for the 600 Pro.
This pricing places the Pro on par with a base model iPhone 17 in this market, and it is several hundred Euros less than the 17 Pro models that clearly served as its inspiration.
