Katie Price claims she's safer stuck in Dubai with husband Lee than in UK
Price is currently stranded in Dubai after travelling to city to meet husband, Lee Andrews
Katie Price has disclosed that she's currently stuck in Dubai after traveling to the city, now hit by missiles, to reunite with her husband, Lee Andrews.
The mother of five found her flight canceled amid recent strikes across the UAE, though she admits she still feels more secure there than back in the UK.
This past Monday and Tuesday, Iran launched more drones and missiles at the UAE as ongoing tensions continue.
During this period, Katie was recording her weekly podcast, The Katie Price Show, via video call with her sister Sophie.
"I'm not sure if you can hear, but there are *thumping noises* happening. I'm supposed to fly back tomorrow. We've been getting alerts all day, and tonight we're hearing a lot of activity," she shared in the new podcast episode.
"All flights have been canceled," Katie confirmed.
Even with the noise of missiles while at Lee’s place, Katie insisted she's not anxious about the ongoing turmoil.
In fact, she asserts feeling more secure in Dubai than back in the UK.
She mentioned to Sophie: "You can hear the jets, fighter jets, missiles, all of that happening. But it's strange because you feel secure here, and it’s great, but then you have that looming over you.
"I check online and see news in England, and I'm just relieved I’m here. Each day there are reports of shootings, more crime, it’s bizarre.
"Even with everything going on here, you can leave your belongings anywhere, walk freely, and feel safe."
Katie also remarked, "In England, walking on the streets feels daunting."
The former glamour model has been regularly flying to Dubai to visit her husband Lee since their whirlwind wedding took place in February.
Lee still hasn't traveled to the UK amid rumors of a travel ban, which he denies.
It had been suggested that he cannot leave Dubai due to allegations of signing his ex-girlfriend Dina Taji’s name to obtain a £200,000 loan.
Dismissing these rumours, Lee has indicated plans for UK visits numerous times recently, even saying last month that he plans to move there, yet he hasn't made the journey as of now.
