Khloé Kardashian recalls terrifying Coachella experience that left her ‘so scared’

Reality TV star Khloé Kardashian has opened up about a frightening experience she endured during her first and only visit to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival back in 2015.

Speaking during an Ask Me Anything segment on the latest episode of her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, the 41-year-old recalled attending the festival in Indio, California, years ago, but admitted the trip left her deeply shaken.

“Wasn’t the best experience. I got drugged without me knowing, but I think everyone knew,” Kardashian shared.

The Kardashians star explained that she had picked up a “juice” at a party and later began feeling unusually disoriented.

However, Kardashian clarified that she does not believe anyone intentionally drugged her.

“I don’t think anyone drugged me. I just think I was the dumb one and didn’t realize that everyone was on drugs,” she said. 

“I remember drinking this drink and just feeling really crazy. No one wants to feel like that and not know why they’re like that.”

According to Kardashian, the situation became so overwhelming that she locked herself in a bathroom for hours because she was terrified and confused about what was happening.

“I just didn’t realize what was happening until after it happened, like that I was on drugs,” she explained. “Everyone was yelling at me because I wouldn’t get out of the bathroom.”

“I was in my head. I was so scared, so my experience was not good,” she added.

Despite avoiding Coachella since then, several members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, including Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian, have continued attending the annual music festival over the years.

Elsewhere in the podcast episode, Kardashian also reflected on her 2007 DUI arrest, describing the experience as “really scary.”

The reality star revealed she spent hours in a holding cell after being arrested at age 22, admitting she initially did not realize the seriousness of the situation because it was her first offense.

“I didn’t know I was going to go to jail because of that,” Kardashian said, adding that she feared her mother finding out more than the legal consequences at the time.

She further recalled spending the weekend in a holding cell with 23 other women before authorities could process her case on a weekday.
