Kim Kardashian is reportedly putting her legal ambitions on hold for now after deciding not to retake the California bar exam this year due to her demanding schedule.

According to a new report by the New York Post’s Page Six, the 45-year-old star has opted to skip this round of the exam as she continues juggling multiple filming and production commitments alongside her responsibilities as a single mother.

“Kim has a packed schedule and has been heavily involved in filming and production for several projects so she decided it’s best to skip this round of the bar exam and focus on taking it again when she feels ready,” a source told the outlet.

The insider added that Kardashian remains committed to becoming a qualified attorney and is taking the process seriously despite the setback.

“When Kim has her mind made up on something, she gives it her all, and this isn’t something she’s taking lightly,” the source shared, noting that most candidates spend months fully dedicated to preparing for the exam.

The source further explained that the pressure surrounding the high-profile reality star’s legal journey has added another layer of stress.

“This exam can put a lot of pressure on anybody. There’s a lot at stake and she’s put so much time and effort into this already.

But on top of that, there are so many eyes on her, so it just adds a whole other level of weight to it,” the insider said.

Kardashian previously opened up about receiving encouragement from former US President Barack Obama after failing the exam.

Speaking to Complex magazine, she revealed Obama told her that former First Lady Michelle Obama also did not pass the test on her first attempt.

She also said several prominent figures, including Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, were mentioned to reassure her that failing the exam initially is not uncommon.

Despite once calling the test a “one and done” experience because of the time and energy required, Kardashian later admitted she was determined to try again.

“One day, I’ll retake it. I don’t know when; I have to find the time. But I don’t think I could live with myself if I don’t try again,” she said.
