Harry Styles has sparked mixed reactions online after releasing the music video for his latest track, Dance No More.

The former One Direction star dropped the visual for the energetic single on May 7, quickly igniting debate across social media platforms.

While many fans praised the retro-inspired concept and choreography, others criticised the singer’s dance moves and overall aesthetic.

Dance No More appears on Styles’ fourth studio album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, which was released earlier this year on March 6.

The track has been described as a carefree, high-energy synth-pop anthem inspired by the vibrant sounds of the 1980s.

Soon after the video premiered, users on X, formerly known as Twitter, began sharing clips alongside divided reactions.

One user wrote, “He simply does not have the aura or sex appeal for this anymore. It’s been gone.”

Another critic compared the performance to “watching a dad of middle school students dancing,” while others argued the singer’s image has shifted over the years.

Despite the backlash, several fans defended Harry Styles and praised the video’s nostalgic energy, styling, and playful choreography.

The release marks another bold creative step for the Grammy-winning artist, who has continued experimenting with disco and synth-heavy sounds throughout his latest musical era.
