Hayley Williams hints at unexpected moments in upcoming solo tour
The singer is currently touring in support of her album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party
Hayley Williams has hinted that fans can expect “exciting surprises” as she expands her first solo tour, The Hayley Williams Show, following her ongoing solo run.
The Paramore frontwoman is currently touring in support of her latest solo album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, but has now confirmed additional dates that will broaden the setlist and scale of the show.
According to a press release, the upcoming tour will feature tracks spanning all three of Williams’ solo albums, along with what she described as “exciting surprises,” though specific details remain under wraps.
The ambiguity has sparked speculation among fans about whether the setlist could include unexpected covers or even songs from her main band, Paramore.
Her current theatre performances have primarily focused on material from Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, along with a cover of Nina Simone, but the expanded tour is expected to widen the musical scope significantly.
Williams will be joined by Magdalena Bay and Rico Nasty as openers for the US leg of the tour, while Annie DiRusso is set to support dates across Latin America and Puerto Rico.
Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party was released in August last year, following her 2021 project Flowers for Vases/Descansos and earlier debut solo record Petals for Armor.
Outside her solo work, Williams reunited with Paramore for their 2023 album This Is Why, which topped charts in the UK and reached number two in the US, featuring tracks such as “The News” and “Running Out of Time.”
Paramore, formed in 2004, rose to fame with albums like Riot! and Brand New Eyes, later evolving their sound through projects such as their self-titled 2013 record and 2017’s After Laughter.
