Ariana Grande has officially announced the release date for her new single, Hate That I Made You Love Me, sending fans into a frenzy online ahead of her upcoming album Petal.
The Grammy-winning singer and Wicked star shared the news in a special Instagram post on Friday, revealing that the track will arrive on May 29, 2026, as the lead single from her eighth studio album.
“hate that i made you love me. my first single off of petal. 5.29,” Grande wrote in the caption.
The 32-year-old singer also described the song as one of her most personal and meaningful projects to date, praising longtime collaborators Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh.
“One of my favorite songs I’ll ever write,” Grande shared, adding that she “simply cannot wait” for fans to hear it.
Alongside the announcement, Grande posted two black-and-white images of herself in a dramatic, stylized photoshoot, further fueling anticipation surrounding the new era.
Fans quickly flooded social media with excited reactions following the reveal, with many celebrating the return of new music from the pop superstar.
