Journalist and "Today" show host Savannah Guthrie shared a poignant montage of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, on Sunday to mark a difficult Mother's Day.
Nancy Guthrie remains missing after vanishing from her home in Tucson, Arizona, on 1 February. The emotional Instagram post served as both a tribute and a desperate plea for the public’s help in locating the 84-year-old matriarch.
"Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie - we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you," Guthrie wrote. "We will never be at peace until we find you."
She also reminded followers that a $1 million reward remains available for information leading to Nancy's return. The elderly woman lived alone and suffered from a heart condition that required daily medication.
The investigation, involving both local sheriffs and the FBI, currently points toward abduction. Authorities are working to identify a masked man seen on Nancy’s Nest doorbell camera shortly before she disappeared.
Disturbingly, investigators also discovered blood belonging to Nancy on her front porch. "Someone knows something that can make the difference," Guthrie stated, urging those with knowledge to break their silence.
Savannah and her siblings have maintained a constant social media presence to keep the case in the public eye.
Nancy is described as having limited mobility, making the circumstances of her disappearance even more concerning for her loved ones.
The family continues to seek answers as the search enters its fourth month. "Please keep praying," Guthrie added in her closing remarks. "Bring her home."
