The late Catherine O’Hara was fondly remembered at the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday.

Seth Rogen went up to receive the accolade for best international series for his popular satire “The Studio” and, in his usual humorous style, remarked that it would be “wrong” not to mention his dear co-star from the series, who tragically died in January. She was 71 years old.

“She held a special place in our hearts, and I believe she did the same for you here,” he expressed, then dedicated the BAFTA honor to O’Hara.

It isn't the first occasion on which Rogen has paid homage to O’Hara in such a setting.

During the Actor Awards in March, she was recognised posthumously with the female actor in a comedy series award for her portrayal of former studio head Patty Leigh.

Rogen accepted the award in her absence and delivered a touching speech that moved many attendees to tears.

“I have the somber privilege of accepting this accolade for O’Hara,” he noted. “I am certain she would have felt truly honored to receive this recognition from her acting peers, whom she admired greatly. She was a huge fan of all of you.”

He continued: “I have, of course, been thinking back on the moments I got to share with her, working alongside her, and something I’ve been truly impressed by over these past weeks was her unmatched ability to show kindness and generosity, while always valuing her own contributions in our work.”
