Shania Twain stuns fans with unrecognisable look on red carpet
Shania Twain stirred excitement on the red carpet with fans describing her as 'unrecognisable'
Shania Twain grabbed everyone's attention with her recent appearance on the red carpet, leaving fans saying she looked completely ‘different’.
The iconic country singer, now 60, made a stunning entrance at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday.
Shania dazzled in a shimmering silver and black gown adorned with sequins.
Her outfit was perfectly complemented by long leather gloves with silver eyelet accents, while her auburn locks cascaded over her shoulders.
To complete her look, Shania chose glamorous makeup with a striking blush and statement earrings.
However, when viewers saw Shania from home, many couldn't believe she appeared so altered compared to previous years.
One user turned to Twitter, saying: “She appears entirely different, and not positively. She used to be naturally beautiful. This doesn’t resemble her at all!”
Another echoed, “My goodness, she doesn’t look like the same person!”
Others chimed in, “Who is that?” and “She looks nothing like before.”
Shania, who hosted the event, has consistently stated she's never undergone plastic surgery, though fans often wonder about her ageless appearance.
During a 2023 chat on the Making Space with Hoda Kotb podcast, the singer mentioned reaching a point where she chose not to pursue cosmetic enhancements.
“That realisation likely pushed me to embrace self-love in my natural skin,” she explained.
“And what if I happen to be one of those who doesn’t heal well?” she added.
“I’d end up disliking that part of myself. I’d regret the choice.”
Shania skyrocketed to stardom in the mid-1990s after releasing her album, The Woman in Me.
The album sold over 20 million copies globally and included her first major hit, Any Man of Mine.
Her next album, Come on Over, solidified her status and became the best-selling studio album by a female artist across any genre at that time.
