Kylie Kelce rejects Sports Illustrated Cover rumors with blunt response
The mother of four said she has no interest in appearing on the iconic magazine cover
Kylie Kelce has shut down speculation that she would ever pose for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, making it clear she has no interest in joining the iconic magazine’s annual lineup.
The 34-year-old mother of four addressed the topic on the latest episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, following fan suggestions sparked by her recent conversation with cover star Hilary Duff.
Duff recently appeared on one of the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covers, with Kelce praising her during the episode and calling the achievement “empowering” for mothers.
“It is this vision of beauty and this sexy ‘I have it’… It is so special to see someone who has four kids,” Kelce said, applauding Duff’s appearance on the cover.
However, Kelce quickly dismissed the idea that she herself should follow in those footsteps after listeners suggested she consider the opportunity.
“Guys, how do I say this nicely? No, thank you. Absolutely not,” she said firmly during the podcast episode released May 21.
She added that the idea was far outside her comfort zone, joking that even her podcast team questioned whether it would be suitable for her.
“If it’s the top 10 places I have no business being, I would almost say it’s top three,” she said, laughing off the suggestion.
Kelce also pointed out her general discomfort with photoshoots, noting that if she struggles with being photographed fully clothed, a swimsuit shoot would not be a natural fit.
“I think it goes without saying that if I don’t like having my photo taken clothed, I’m probably not gonna like my photo taken naked,” she said.
Despite rejecting the idea, Kelce emphasized she remains a fan of the publication and supports those who participate in it.
“Big fan of the magazine,” she said. “I loved it. So, big fan. Love it for other women. You guys are crushing it.”
She also joked about the kinds of magazine covers she would consider, suggesting humorous alternatives such as pet-themed or food-focused editions rather than fashion or swimwear shoots.
“If you wanna fill a pool with loaves of bread… I will happily be photographed,” she joked on the podcast.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue continues to feature a wide range of public figures, including athletes’ partners and celebrities, with past editions featuring figures such as Brittany Mahomes.
