Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin has posted an emotional video in which she opened up about the challenges of welcoming her rescue dog Koda into her home.

"I was just crying this morning," the former reality star shared via TikTok on Tuesday, describing it as a "day 12 update" on the animal.

"I'm tired. It's getting to be a lot, which makes me sound like a baby, but the truth is, I've just been on watch constantly hoping nothing happens and watching them all the time," she told her followers.

Gosselin, who also adopted Koda's sister Meika, said that juggling the schedules of both dogs has become increasingly overwhelming at the age of 51.

"Koda is a humongous personality," she said of the Belgian Malinois mix. "She is now very obsessed with her ball, equally as Meika, and she could run forever."

The Dancing With the Stars alumna added that Koda's energy levels are comparable to those of an Alaskan Malamute, and that the situation has begun to make her "doubt" herself.

The most upsetting moment came when Koda turned her attention to a deeply cherished item — a dog bed that had belonged to Gosselin's former German shepherds, Nanuq and Shoka.

"[Koda] destroyed a rug yesterday and she tried to destroy — this makes me cry — Nanuq's bed that used to be Shoka's," she said.

"It's our favorite bed. I've had it for 15 plus years or more … and it's very special to me," Gosselin added. "[Koda] sleeps on it at night. It's the bed we keep in our room. That really upset me. That would really break my heart. And I know that things get destroyed."

Gosselin acknowledged that the "pressure" and "strain and stress" of the situation has been affecting both herself and her boyfriend, Steve Neild. Nevertheless, she said the couple had gone into the rescue process with their eyes open.

"At the end of the day, probably no one else would have saved her," she claimed. "So, I know that we're doing a good thing. We just have to hang in."

The emotional bond Gosselin has with Koda's bed is rooted in grief. Last December, she announced that her beloved German shepherd Nanuq had passed away.

"I have no words. One minute she was here and healthy. The next, she was gone," she wrote via Instagram at the time.

Gosselin, who lives in North Carolina, is best known for raising eight children with her former husband Jon Gosselin — sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Alexis, Hannah, Collin, and Leah, all 22, as well as 25-year-old twins Mady and Cara. She is currently estranged from son Collin, who lives with Jon and Hannah in Pennsylvania.
