Country singer Brett Eldredge has announced that he has quietly got married, revealing the news to fans in a heartfelt Instagram post on Monday, 15 June. The 40-year-old American singer-songwriter and music producer shared a photograph with his new wife on their wedding day, though he has chosen to keep her name private.
In a lengthy caption accompanying the post, Eldredge reflected on how his outlook on life had shifted in recent years.
'An amazing woman who truly loves me'
"Over the last several years, life and my perception of it have changed drastically. I met an amazing woman who truly loves me for me, way beyond the fella with a microphone," he wrote.
The Songs About You crooner described his wife warmly, saying she is "just as goofy as I am" and "someone who loves weird barefoot dance-offs in the living room, looking up at the night sky and wondering what lies beyond what we cannot see."
A partner for life's highs and lows
Eldredge went on to describe the depth of the bond he had found. She is "someone I can have rolling belly laughs with, cry with, and go through life's tilt-a-whirl of emotions with. Someone who inspires me with her big, beautiful heart," he said.
Looking ahead, the country star said he was filled with gratitude as he and his wife embarked on their life together. He said he was looking forward to "so many amazing things ahead" and felt "so grateful I have such a beautiful soul to share it all with."
Kept away from the spotlight
Eldredge offered no details about the wedding ceremony itself, noting only that somewhere "along the way, we got married." He was candid about his reasons for keeping the relationship out of the public eye.
"To me, some of the best things in life are the ones you plant and grow quietly in your sacred space, away from the noise. We value that deeply, and honestly, it soothes my soul," he wrote.
