Pete Davidson marked his first Father's Day as a father on Sunday by taking his baby daughter Scottie to one of New York's most iconic cultural institutions, spending a quiet, celebratory day with his family on Manhattan's Upper West Side.

People reported that the comedian visited the American Museum of Natural History alongside Scottie and his mother, Amy Waters Davidson, for what sources described as a warm and understated occasion.

A sweet, low-key day

A source told the outlet that Davidson's motivation for the outing was rooted in a desire to introduce his daughter to the city's cultural landmarks from an early age. "He wanted Scottie to be exposed to some of New York's most famous museums, even though she's still a baby," the insider said.

The day passed without incident and with a notably positive reception from fellow visitors. "Overall, it was a sweet, low-key Father's Day — just a fun, memorable day spent with his daughter," the source added, noting that people at the museum were "super friendly, respectful, and very supportive of Pete and Scottie" and that they had "a really nice time."

Davidson and Hewitt's co-parenting journey

Scottie was born in December 2025 to Davidson and British model Elsie Hewitt. The couple parted ways earlier this year, just months after becoming parents, but Davidson has spoken warmly about the co-parenting arrangement that followed.

In March, Davidson described his experience of fatherhood in candid terms. "Dad life is f--king awesome," he said. "It is exhausting and rewarding and cute. And I'm very lucky because Elsie is a fantastic mom, and I can't stress enough how lucky I am."

Primal instincts

Davidson also opened up about the more protective instincts that fatherhood had stirred in him. "It's like, 'Chill out. No one's doing anything to your kid.' But you have this weird… I guess it's not weird. It's good. But you have this overly protective, like… if one paparazzi guy pops out I'm going to f---ing beat the living s--- out of him," he said.
