Mandy Moore shared an unfiltered look at her postpartum body, embracing her 'loose skin and all' after welcoming three children in less than four years while revealing she's focused on building strength for the future.

Moore shares candid postpartum update

The 42-year-old actress posted a video to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, July 16, showing herself stretching the loose skin on her abdomen while standing in front of a mirror.

"After 3 kids in 3 1/2 years, this is what my body is... loose skin and all," Moore captioned the clip.

In a follow-up Story, the This Is Us star shared a glimpse of her workout routine, posting a video of herself completing a pull-up in the gym.

"Also I'm super awkward and not a natural athlete but I'm committed to getting stronger for the long run," she wrote.

Actress reflects on motherhood

Moore and her husband, musician Taylor Goldsmith, share three children: Gus, 5, Ozzie, 3, and Lou, 1.

The singer and actress recently spoke about becoming a mother of three during an appearance on Amanda Hirsch's Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast in June.

Discussing having three children in quick succession, Moore admitted she is 'still emotionally recovering.'

"I do feel lucky that energetically, pregnancy was very easy for me," she said.

"I didn't suffer from any sort of postpartum symptoms and stuff, so I feel like I had a relatively easy journey all things considered."

'The greatest gift of my life'

Moore has frequently shared her appreciation for motherhood on social media.

Celebrating her first Mother's Day as a mother of three in May 2025, she described parenting as 'the single greatest gift of my life.'

"Being a mom is the single greatest gift of my life and while you're never off the clock worrying or stressing or planning, the quiet, unmistakable joy triumphs over everything else," she wrote.

"I'm endlessly grateful to the moms in my life who model what it takes, lend an ear, make the best suggestions, and generally make me feel less alone on the journey."
