Jason Kelce opens up about life after Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift
The former NFL star joked that his fanbase shifted from devoted Eagles supporters to 'little girls' after Taylor Swift
Jason Kelce has opened up about how his family's public profile changed dramatically after his brother Travis Kelce began dating Taylor Swift, admitting their fanbase looks very different today.
Speaking on the Ross Tucker Football Podcast, the former Philadelphia Eagles star reflected on how fame evolved over the years before taking a dramatic turn when Travis' relationship with the pop superstar became public.
"It was definitely gradual, and then it just like was a very big flip, obviously, when Taylor and Travis started dating," Jason said.
He explained that the romance introduced an entirely new audience to the Kelce family, saying it sparked interest not only in Travis but also in their relatives.
Jason humorously recalled how his encounters with fans have changed since then.
"I went from very much being dominated by large fat men coming up to me and shaking my hand and thanking me for being an Eagle to little girls," he joked, adding that it was "quite a shift" in the type of people who recognized him.
The increased attention comes after Travis and Taylor tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony at New York's Madison Square Garden earlier this month.
Jason and his wife Kylie Kelce's four daughters — Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett and Finnley — played a special role in the celebration as flower girls.
Speaking previously during the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament, Jason said it meant a great deal for his family to be included in the wedding.
"It was a special event for our entire family," he said, adding that Travis and Taylor adore his daughters.
Jason also shared his happiness for the newlyweds, describing their wedding as "an amazing day" and saying he was grateful his family could be part of the celebration.
