Netflix’s comedy series 'Tires' is expanding its ensemble
Netflix’s comedy series Tires is expanding its ensemble, adding six new recurring cast members for its upcoming third season.
Joining the show are Billy Magnussen, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Taylor Misiak, Sofia Hasmik, Dan Soder and Bobby Lee.
Created and led by Shane Gillis, the series follows Will (Steven Gerben), an inexperienced heir trying to revive his father’s auto repair business, while dealing with constant chaos caused by his cousin Shane (Gillis).
Season 2 saw the duo riding the wave of a surprisingly successful marketing campaign, as they attempted to improve both their business and personal lives—often with messy results. Plot details for Season 3 remain under wraps.
The new cast will take on a range of colorful roles. Soder plays Frank, a vintage car enthusiast who relies on Cal (Chris O’Connor) to maintain his prized collection.
Hasmik appears as Lucy, a charismatic bartender whose laid-back, progressive outlook clashes with Shane’s personality—while also creating sparks.
Magnussen portrays Taylor, a confident, self-made business figure, while Lee plays Ricky, an erratic tire company executive benefiting from family connections.
Misiak joins as Jill, Shane’s former high school flame, reigniting old chemistry when they reunite. Details about Sigler’s character have not been revealed.
Gillis, Gerben and John McKeever serve as writers and executive producers, with McKeever also directing.
