'Paradise' Season 2 finale attracts 4.3m views in 3 days
The second season of 'Paradise' concluded with impressive impact
The second installment of Paradise concluded with a big and literal impact, according to reports.
The finale, which made its debut on March 30, attracted 4.3 million views worldwide in three days on Disney+ and Hulu, as stated by the company on Thursday.
This marks a 35% increase over the premiere, reaching a season-high audience for the sci-fi show.
It’s uncertain how these numbers compare with the first season, as Disney had released seven-day figures for that conclusion.
Hulu reported that the Season 1 finale reached 6.3 million views during its initial week.
The company had also previously shared that the series' first episode garnered 7 million views in nine days.
Hulu revealed that viewers have streamed 13 billion minutes of Paradise so far.
In the second season, after discovering that survivors — including his spouse, Teri (Enuka Okuma) — are still alive beyond the bunker in the finale of Season 1, Xavier (Sterling K. Brown) embarks on a mission to locate her, leaving the Paradise shelter for the first time since the world's downfall.
During his search, he encounters survivor groups and learns how they have endured the three years since the Earth's disaster.
Meanwhile, in Colorado, tensions boil over as the community deals with mistrust and newly revealed secrets.
Deadline explored the Season 2 finale and the unanswered questions we still have as the third season approaches.
The second season features Brown, Julianne Nicholson, Okuma, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, and Charlie Evans, with recurring guest stars such as Marsden, Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty, and Jon Beavers.
Created and executive produced by Dan Fogelman (This Is Us), the 20th Television production also includes executive producers Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, Steve Beers, Glenn Ficarra, John Requa, and Brown.
