The announcement followed the crowning of his latest contestant, Alexia Jayy, as the winner of Season 29.

Speaking to People magazine, the Maroon 5 frontman solidified his commitment to the series shortly after witnessing Jayy’s victory.

This win marks another milestone for Levine, who has previously coached champions such as Javier Colon, Tessanne Chin, and Jordan Smith.

Jayy’s path to the title began with a breathtaking Blind Audition, where she performed the classic ballad "(You Make Me Feel Like) a Natural Woman."

Her soulful delivery and vocal precision prompted turns from all available coaches, but she ultimately chose to join Levine’s team.
