Kate Hudson has revealed that her ultimate dream project would involve working alongside her mother, the legendary actress Goldie Hawn.

Speaking in a recent interview with E! News, the "Song Sung Blue" actress and singer expressed a deep-seated desire to share the screen with her family members, which also includes her stepfather, Kurt Russell.

Despite her enthusiasm, Hudson candidly acknowledged the potential challenges of such an undertaking, jokingly remarking that a full family production in Hollywood "could be a disaster."

Reflecting on the nature of her industry and personal life, the "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" star noted that she and Hawn have recently discussed the fleeting nature of time.

"Life, it goes fast," she observed, adding that she intends to be "very present" in every moment she shares with her parents.

While she previously collaborated with Russell in the 2016 film "Deepwater Horizon," a professional pairing with her mother remains an unfulfilled ambition.

"It would be amazing if I got the opportunity to work with my mom," Hudson gushed, though she admitted there are currently no active projects in development.

Comparing the potential dynamic to the television series "Arrested Development," the "Running Point" actress remains hopeful that the industry might eventually facilitate this union.

While she cautiously suggested "it probably will never happen," she encouraged the public to "put it out there" to see if the opportunity arises.

Hudson’s career continues to flourish following her acclaimed performance in "Glass Onion," while Hawn remains one of cinema's most beloved comedic icons.
