‘Summer House’ star Kyle Cooke responds to Amanda Batula’s Yankees game PDA with West Wilson
Kyle Cooke wasn't thrilled with his ex Amanda Batula’s public shows of affection with West Wilson
Kyle Cooke wasn't thrilled with his ex Amanda Batula’s public shows of affection during her baseball outing with West Wilson.
“Was not ready to witness that. And that. And that,” Cooke wrote on Threads on Saturday, seemingly alluding to Batula and Wilson holding hands and kissing at the Yankees game on Friday.
Followers of Cooke — who parted ways with Batula in January after being married for four years — echoed similar sentiments in the comments, with one individual saying, “Girl neither were WE”
Someone else quipped, “Tell us more about how you truly feel, Kyle. This is an open forum,” and another added, “Yankees games are supposed to be a blast”
Others were quick to mention that Cooke was recently seen displaying his own public affection with “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum Meghan King after a Page Six event in NYC last Thursday.
“Well, honestly, we didn't expect to see you kissing Meghan King Edmonds either!” one person commented, with another saying, “Oh quit it. Even though I’m not a fan of Amanda – she saw you kiss Meghan someone-or-other this week. You knew this was part of the deal.”
“Summer House” colleague Mia Calabrese, meanwhile, commented, “Kyle, I stepped away for just one hour….”
Representatives for Batula and Wilson did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Saturday.
Wilson, 31, and Batula, 34, were spotted in the seats as the Yankees faced the Kansas City Royals on Friday. The stadium’s Kiss Cam captured the well-known pair sharing kisses and flirting during their evening out.
Fan-captured videos also revealed the couple holding hands while strolling through Yankee Stadium.
The pair confirmed relationship rumors last month — despite Batula’s close friendship with co-star Ciara Miller, who had previously dated Wilson — with a surprising announcement on social media.
“We are aware of the growing speculation online, so even though this is still very recent, we wanted to bring some clarity,” Batula and Wilson stated together in a social media post on March 31.
“We never wished to intentionally conceal anything. Given the complex dynamics involved and the scrutiny linked to being on a reality series, we needed some time to handle things in private before addressing it.”
The couple explained that they “understand this has impacted more than just us and never wanted our actions to cause harm or appear careless,” and concluded by expressing gratitude for the support as they work through it.
Among those affected by the disclosure was Miller, who was observed looking downcast outside an Hermés store in New York right after the announcement went public. She has since removed Batula and Wilson from her Instagram following list.
An insider conveyed to Page Six that “Summer House” participants — including Cooke — were “upset” and “let down” by Batula and Wilson’s actions.
Cooke previously reacted to talk that Wilson and Batula were involved before Cooke’s breakup with his former partner, due to their flirtatious interaction in a recent episode of the show.
