Justin Theroux, Nicole Brydon Bloom step out days after birth of their first child
The couple attended a premiere just two days after announcing their baby’s birth
Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom made their first red carpet appearance as new parents, stepping out just days after welcoming their first child together.
The couple attended the New York premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 on Monday, April 20, marking a public return to the spotlight only two days after announcing the birth of their baby boy.
Theroux, 54, opted for a classic navy suit paired with a white shirt, while Bloom, 32, wore a black halter-neck gown with gold detailing and strappy heels, delivering a sleek red-carpet look for the high-profile event.
The couple had shared the news of their son’s arrival on Instagram on April 18, posting a photo of Theroux holding the newborn with the caption: “He’s here [emoji] we are so in love.”
Speaking to People at the premiere, Theroux opened up about fatherhood, describing it as an overwhelming and meaningful experience.
“Being able to pour all the love that I have into my son,” he said when asked what he’s most looking forward to about becoming a parent.
The baby marks the couple’s first child together. The pair reportedly married earlier in 2025, with their relationship becoming public over the past year as they navigated pregnancy and early parenthood privately.
Bloom previously shared updates during her pregnancy, noting that while her first trimester was challenging, she felt “very lucky and grateful” as her second trimester progressed smoothly.
Ahead of their baby’s arrival, the couple also held a small, intimate celebration in New York, described as a relaxed gathering with close friends rather than a traditional baby shower.
