Cruz Beckham extends olive branch to brother Brooklyn amid ongoing family feud
Cruz Beckham has made another peace offering to his estranged brother Brooklyn
Cruz Beckham has made another peace offering to his estranged brother Brooklyn, despite Brooklyn having blocked him.
The budding singer, 21, took to his Instagram stories to post a childhood picture featuring himself and his brothers, Brooklyn, 27, and Romeo, 23.
In the image, the three brothers can be seen seated in matching white shirts.
The delightful childhood photo captures them smiling broadly while posing for the memorable snapshot.
This is one of several attempts by Cruz to reconnect with his brother in recent months.
Back in December, he posted a photo of himself with his brothers and their father David, declaring: “Love you guys.”
In February, he uploaded another photo of the brothers together during their younger days.
The trio flashed playful smiles for the camera as Brooklyn sat in the center, hugging them both.
Last month, he celebrated Brooklyn’s 27th birthday by sharing a photo of a young Brooklyn holding baby Cruz.
He captioned it: “I love you,” along with a party emoji.
Brooklyn has not made any public response to Cruz’s gestures aimed at resolving the family tensions.
The budding chef blocked his family members on Instagram in December and continues to keep them unfollowed.
Cruz has previously addressed Brooklyn’s social media actions.
Initially, it was believed that the Beckham family had “unfollowed” Brooklyn’s account.
Cruz soon set the record straight. With no hesitation, he asserted: “Not true.
“My mom and dad would never unfollow their son. Let’s get the story right. “They woke up blocked . . . as did I.”
Brooklyn released a revealing statement in January, hinting that public persona and Brand Beckham were top priorities for his parents.
Earlier this month, matriarch Victoria was directly questioned about her oldest son during an interview with the Wall Street Journal.
The Spice Girls icon stated: “We’ve always cherished our children dearly.
“We’ve always strived to be the best parents we can be. Being in the public eye for over 30 years now, our aim has always been to protect and cherish our children.
“And that’s all I intend to say about it.”
Victoria didn’t mention Brooklyn by name when discussing the rift but emphasized her focus on “protecting and loving our children”.
Victoria and David are reportedly heartbroken over the fallout and have even proposed meeting with Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz with legal and therapeutic support to mend fences.
However, with Brooklyn remaining resolute on his stance, the family has yet to progress toward a reconciliation.
