A-list stars gathered to celebrate the actors’ decades-long careers
Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci were celebrated with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as some of Hollywood’s biggest names gathered to honor their decades-long contributions to film.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 co-stars, who are also family, with Tucci married to Blunt’s sister Felicity Bluntwere recognized during a joint ceremony in Los Angeles, drawing tributes from industry heavyweights including Meryl Streep, Matt Damon, Dwayne Johnson, and Robert Downey Jr.
Damon, who worked with Blunt on Oppenheimer, praised both actors for their enduring careers and personal character.
He described them as “two of the most deserving” figures to receive the honor, highlighting their ability to thrive in a demanding industry while maintaining authenticity.
Johnson also paid tribute to Blunt’s personality, emphasizing her grounded nature and sense of gratitude, which he said contribute to her success both on and off screen.
Downey Jr., known for his candid remarks, delivered a humorous yet heartfelt speech, applauding both Blunt and Tucci while also acknowledging Blunt’s husband, John Krasinski.
He described Blunt as a uniquely compelling presence, combining professionalism with humor and emotional depth.
Meanwhile, Meryl Streep, who starred alongside the pair in The Devil Wears Prada, offered high praise for Tucci, calling him a “national treasure,” a sentiment that visibly moved the actor.
In her remarks, Blunt reflected on the significance of the moment, expressing gratitude for her family, colleagues, and the industry that has shaped her career.
She described the recognition as deeply meaningful and shared the honor with Tucci, whom she affectionately referred to during her speech.
Tucci, marking over four decades in Hollywood, said the recognition and Streep’s praise stood among the greatest honors of his career.
Despite describing the journey as “exhausting,” he added that he would not trade his experience in the industry for anything.
