Lola Young exposes cheating married dad lover post-encounter, declares she's 'back to women'

Pop icon Lola Young is heartbroken after learning that the man she was dating led a secret life as a married father.

The artist, known for "Messy," shared that she had been involved with the man for four months and was "falling head over heels" before realizing who he really was.

After this ordeal, she is now choosing to date women again, as her trust in men has been shaken.

She shared that her shocking realization came when she unintentionally overheard a chat he had with his wife.

Lola, who has clinched both a Brit and a Grammy award recently, recounted that post-intimacy, his phone stayed connected to the Bluetooth speaker, exposing his secret.

She disclosed: “I was in a relationship for nearly four months, and it was becoming quite deep.”

“I honestly thought my emotions were growing stronger. He was slightly my senior, like an older individual. Men seem to mature a bit slower.”

“We had been together for four months when we ended up in bed, and it was amazing.”

Lola detailed: “His phone buzzes just as we were finishing, and he tells me, ‘Give me a couple of minutes’.

“Meanwhile, the music from the Bluetooth speaker continued.”

“While he's downstairs, his wife is asking him to pick up diapers for their children. I caught every single word from the speaker."

“I hadn’t done anything wrong.”

She mentioned: “I felt slightly unhinged. I thought, I can’t continue like this, I’m returning to women.”

Lola narrated the experience during a segment at Rosalia’s sold-out performance in London’s O2 Arena.

She joined Rosalia on stage for a confessional, sharing her ordeal without mentioning when it occurred or who the man was.

Earlier this year, she was seen on the exclusive dating platform Raya, making a notable return after stepping back in September to focus on personal challenges.

Though Lola hasn't defined her sexual orientation, she once responded to a fan on TikTok with: “i like p***y as well u kno.”

She is gearing up for her upcoming tour with gigs lined up in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, and London next month.
