‘American Idol’ Winner Hannah Harper announces first headlining tour

Singer Hannah Harper, who rose to fame after winning American Idol Season 24, has unveiled a packed new performance schedule, marking a major step in her post-show career.

The 25-year-old artist announced on May 26 that she will launch her own “String Cheese Tour,” her first headlining tour since winning the competition on May 11, 2026.

The announcement came as a surprise to fans, who have been closely following her rapid rise since her breakthrough on the long-running singing competition.

In addition to her headlining tour, Harper will also join country star Lauren Alaina as a supporting act on selected dates of the Stages Tour.

Alaina, a former American Idol Season 10 runner-up, has built a successful country music career and continues to tour extensively across the United States.

Harper is set to open shows in multiple cities, including Springfield, Missouri; Little Rock, Arkansas; Columbia, Missouri; Lexington, Kentucky; and Cleveland, Ohio.

Her own tour is scheduled to begin on June 5, 2026, and will run through mid-November, making it a months-long touring commitment as she expands her presence in the country-pop space.

The singer is expected to balance her demanding schedule with family life, traveling with her husband, Devon Mendenhall, and their three young sons.

Before her tour officially begins, Harper will also perform at the Grand Ole Opry on June 2, followed by an appearance at CMA Fest weekend on June 3 alongside fellow American Idol alumni.

The combination of headline shows, high-profile opening slots, and major festival appearances underscores Harper’s growing momentum as she transitions from reality show champion to a full-fledged touring artist.
