Brooks Nader suffers wardrobe malfunction at Sports Illustrated Swim Week event

Brooks Nader experienced a wardrobe mishap at Miami Swim Week on Friday after her red off-the-shoulder minidress lost a strap whilst she was in the ocean at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Beach Club at W South Beach.

The incident at the beach club

The Baywatch actress was photographed frolicking in the surf alongside Stassi Schroeder, Molly Sims, and others when the top of her dress fell as she rode on the shoulders of a friend in the water.

She was subsequently snapped wading through the waves whilst attempting to hold the dress up over her chest in the aftermath of the incident.

At another point during the outing, Nader appeared to have taken a tumble, with her soaked red dress covered in sand as she made her way back onto the beach.

In between the mishaps, she was also photographed wearing sunglasses and beachy open-toed heels for pictures at the surf-side event.

Filming for Love Thy Nader

Nader, 29, was joined at the event by her sisters Mary Holland, 26, Grace Ann, 25, and Sarah Jane, 22, with the group seen filming scenes for their reality series Love Thy Nader during the outing.

The sisters were among several celebrities attending the star-studded event in Florida, with Kristin Cavallari and Megan Thee Stallion also spotted on the runway in swimwear.

Not her first fashion mishap

The Miami incident is far from Nader's first brush with a wardrobe disaster. Earlier this month at the 2026 Fox Upfronts, she narrowly avoided a similar incident in another red dress.

Speaking to People about that occasion, she revealed: "What a lot of people don't know is this dress broke in the car two minutes before I pulled up, so I'm sewn in and the zipper isn't a thing."

In October, her left breast came loose from a plunging white blouse whilst she attended a Vogue party with her sister Sarah Jane.

And in August 2025, she took a lighthearted approach to yet another malfunction during a yacht trip in Italy, adding a pair of star emojis over her chest when a plunging white dress slipped down to expose her on social media.

Praised for handling Wimbledon incident

Perhaps the most widely discussed of Nader's wardrobe moments came at Wimbledon last July, when she unexpectedly began her period and chose to address it openly on social media, sharing a photograph of the resulting stain on her white skirt via TikTok.

"Tries to be chic," she wrote atop the candid clip, "starts at Wimbledon." The video showed her modelling the white skirt with a polka-dot top before turning to reveal the stain to surprised onlookers. "Of course #wimbledon," she captioned the post.

The response from followers was overwhelmingly positive. "You're so real for this," one user wrote, whilst another added: "Thank you for normalizing what we go through."
