Jessica Alba celebrates daughter Honor’s high school graduation in emotional tribute
Honor Warren is set to begin her studies at Yale University
Jessica Alba has shared an emotional tribute after her daughter, Honor, graduated from high school, describing the milestone moment as one that left her “heart aching with pride.”
The 44-year-old actress posted a series of photos on Instagram from the special day on Thursday, including a tender image of her kissing her smiling daughter on the cheek.
“My baby girl graduated yesterday and my heart aches with pride,” Alba wrote in her caption. “To my Honorcita — it feels like yesterday I was holding you in my arms, and in the blink of an eye, you’re standing here ready for your next chapter.”
Reflecting on her daughter’s upbringing, Alba recalled the early years of motherhood, saying she could still picture Honor as a child asking for “one more bedtime song” and “one more story.”
She also praised her daughter’s independence and character, noting that Honor has “never followed the crowd” and has always remained true to herself.
“You move through the world with conviction, curiosity, kindness, and a courage that inspires everyone around you,” Alba wrote. “Watching you grow into the young woman you are today has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.”
Concluding her message, Alba reflected on the passage of time, calling it “fleeting” and “sacred,” while expressing gratitude for her role as a mother. “Congratulations, baby girl. I love you forever and always,” she added.
Honor’s father, film producer Cash Warren, also marked the occasion on social media, praising his daughter’s discipline and determination.
“You have officially outgrown the high school pond, and you’re ready to swim in deeper waters,” he wrote. “Every single day, you put in the work needed to accomplish your goals. That combination is rare. You are one of one.”
Honor, the couple’s eldest child, is now set to begin her next academic chapter at Yale University.
