Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun shared awkward seats at NBA Finals Game 4

Scooter Braun, 44, attended Game 4 of the NBA Finals to watch the New York Knicks face the San Antonio Spurs, accompanied by his girlfriend, Sydney Sweeney. Also in the building — and very much in proximity — was his long-standing nemesis, Taylor Swift.
Swift, 36, arrived courtside with her close friends Este and Alana Haim, dressed in a blue shirt bearing the words "Stevie Knicks." In an Instagram video published by Page Six, the pop star is visible at her courtside position — with Braun and Sweeney seated just three rows behind her, the two parties separated by a barricade.
Earlier in the day, Braun had shared a photo on his Instagram Stories of himself at Madison Square Garden with a group that included his father, captioning it: "Game 4 at THE GARDEN." A self-described lifelong Knicks supporter, Braun has been openly enthusiastic about the team's playoff run, posting videos of himself celebrating their progress on social media throughout.
Swift's Knicks credentials
Swift's presence at the game was no great surprise to those who follow her closely. Last month, she attended a Knicks versus Cleveland Cavaliers fixture alongside her fiancé, Travis Kelce, and fans on social media were quick to note that her apparent affinity for the Knicks stretches back years.
She has previously been photographed in Knicks merchandise and pictured alongside former players including Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony — even if Kelce himself is a Cavaliers fan, having grown up in Ohio.
The feud that refuses to die
The pair's well-documented animosity dates back to 2019, when Braun acquired the masters of Swift's first six studio albums — Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989 and Reputation — through his purchase of her former label, Big Machine Records, without her consent. Swift responded with a forthright Tumblr post, publicly accusing him of having bullied her over the years via his then-clients Justin Bieber and Kanye West.
Last month, Braun addressed the episode during an appearance on the "Second Thought" podcast, insisting he had never had any meaningful relationship with Swift at all.
"I don't know Taylor Swift. I think I've met her in my life three times. I have never had a substantial conversation with her in my life. I will never truly understand that situation to this day. I wish her nothing but the best."
Braun also claimed that Swift had once extended an invitation to him for a private gathering, and that she had expressed having "the utmost respect" for him — but that this amounted to the full extent of their contact.
"People are usually shocked to find out that I legitimately don't know her and didn't have many interactions with her and never really knew her."
He acknowledged that the dispute had cast him as a villain almost overnight, but said he ultimately took lessons from the experience.
